The Plainwell FIeld House is a new basketball court, indoor track, and pool for both the students and the community to use. Our onsite team successfully completed the full scope of work related to the plumbing and mechanical package. This included setting all units in each of the 6 mechanical rooms, the installation of 146,000 lbs of ductwork throughout the gym and pool areas, and tying each of those units in with 9,000 ft of mechanical piping throughout the addition. With a majority of the duct being double wall and including multiple silencers placed throughout the system to make for a better environment for the spectators in the space during events.
Additionally, we integrated the new chilled water and hydronic systems from the expansion into the existing middle school infrastructure, creating a more streamlined and manageable system for the school moving forward.
